이번 writing 의 제목은 "Let Them Free!" 이었습니다. 이 글을 작성하기 위한 단계들을 살펴보고 마지막에는 아이가 최종적으로 작성한 글도 한번 올려보겠습니다.
Brainstorm
글쓰기에서 브레인스토밍은 글의 주제, 내용, 구조 등을 자유롭게 떠올려보는 과정을 말합니다. 브레인스토밍을 통해 도출한 아이디어는 글쓰기의 초석이 됩니다. 글의 주제를 확정하고, 구체적인 내용을 채워 넣을 때도 도움이 됩니다. 또한, 글의 구조를 설계하는 데에도 도움이 됩니다.
Brainstorm 단계에서 글이 어떻게 구성될지 알 수 있도록 주요 단어들(Habitat, Hunt, Freedom)을 적고 각 단어 간의 관계를 연결하고 있습니다. Brainstorm 에서 글이 어떤 방향으로 작성될지 알 수 있습니다.

Outline 을 살펴보면 Brainstorm 단계에서 뽑아냈던 단어들을 이용하여 글의 큰 구조를 잡아주고 있습니다.
Body paragraph 에 들어가는 내용 중 한 꼭지를 살펴보면 다음과 같습니다.

위에 첨삭해준 내용을 보면 글의 내용을 더 잘 뒷받침해줄 수 있도록 보강해야 하는 부분들에 대해 꼼꼼하게 첨삭지도 해주고 있는 것을 알 수 있습니다.
First Draft
Outline 을 바탕으로 First Draft 를 작성합니다. First Draft 를 작성해가면 학원에서 아래와 같이 첨삭을 해주고, 첨삭한 내용을 참고하면서 Final Draft 을 작성합니다.
첨삭해준 내용 중 한 문단만 살펴보면 다음과 같습니다.
Finally, hunting. The animals can learn to hunt in the wild. Animals can easily hunt because animals such as lions, tigers, and bears have sharp teeth, and claws which help them catch their prey. Besides, in cages, they can't hunt. Hunting also makes animals stronger. Hunting can be exersizing.

Let Them Free!
These days, animals are kept in the zoo. They are locked up in cages. The animals would not be happy. So, we need to make them happy! In the wild, there are three good things for animals, and those are freedom, habitat, and hunting.
First, animals need freedom. In bigger places such as in the wild, there will be more happiness! That's because animals can run in bigger places. For example, a cheetah needs to walk an run for 2 - 4 miles a day. Also, animals can fly freely. Birds will be able to spread wings.
Second, habitat! Birds can migrate to hot or cold weather. So, they can find their favorite weather. It means that they can choose favorite places to live. They can choose between a hot or a cold place.
Finally, animals need to have hunting skills. The animals can learn to hunt in the wild. Animals can easily hunt because animals such as lions, tigers, and bears have sharp teeth, and claws which help them catch prey. Besides in cages, they can't hunt. Hunting also makes animals stronger. Hunting can be some exersize.
To conclude, in the wild, animals feel freedom, stay in the correct habitat, and learn how to hunt. These reasons all means that wild is better than in the zoo. I hope animals will be free.
